TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The production process of Celcon AAC blocks are closely monitored to ensure consistent quality.
The factory laboratory undertakes daily tests, while additional tests are regularly carried out by external laboratories.

Density

To ensure consistent performance, Celcon blocks are manufactured with a dry density of 650 kg/m³. As delivered, the block density is around 700 kg/m³ due to inherent moisture content (approximately 7%).

Compressive Strength

Celcon blocks achieve a high compressive strength despite their lightweight nature. It boasts an average compressive strength of 3.65 N/mm² (or approximately 3.6 kg/cm²), or adjusted to your project requirements (upon request).

Fire Resistance

Celcon blocks have extraordinary fire resistance due to non-combustible properties of silica sand. This provides superior fire protection for your building. It offers approximately 240 minutes of fire resistance for every 100mm increase in wall thickness.

Thermal Conductivity

With a low thermal conductivity of 0.18 W/m°C, Celcon blocks offer superior thermal insulation. This translates to a cooler indoor environment in warm climates, potentially reducing the reliance on air conditioning. Consequently, building with Celcon blocks can contribute to improved energy efficiency and lower cooling costs.

Absorption & Water Penetration

Celcon blocks' closed-cell structure minimizes water absorption at 0.10 kg/(m2.S0.5) with a 0.7 x 10-3(m/S0.5) penetration. This results in superior water resistance, protecting your building from moisture damage and promoting a healthy indoor environment.

Sound Insulation

Celcon blocks offer superior sound insulation compared to traditional concrete bricks due to their low density and closed-cell structure. These factors contribute to a higher Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 40 for single layer 100 mm thickness, and STC 51 for double layer 100 mm thickness with 50 mm air space, signifying its ability to block sound waves and reduce noise transmission.
